AGM 2023
You are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Women’s Platform on Wednesday 18 October 2023, at 6.00pm.
The meeting will take place via Zoom and registration is available here.
The AGM will be followed by an open webinar on Support, solidarity and sisterhood: Learning from women in Turkey.
This online webinar follows the AGM of Women’s Platform and is a conversation with the Turkey coordination to the European Women’s Lobby, which will explore the situation of women in Turkey and the position on women’s rights and gender equality, a year and a half after Turkey left the Istanbul Convention on violence against women and girls. The webinar is intended to explore how the wider women’s movement can stand in solidarity with women in Turkey, and practically how relationships can be developed to support gender equality across countries and regions.

Election of Committee members
Up to four Committee members will be elected at this AGM. Any woman aged over 16 can be a member of the Committee, but must be nominated by a full member of Women’s Platform, using the attached form. Full members are organisations working solely or primarily with women, or with significant programmes focused on women only.
Nominations must be signed by an authorised person within the nominating full member organisation, and accompanied by a consent form signed by the candidate. Nominations should be emailed to info@womensplatform.org and close at 5pm on Wednesday 11 October 2023.
